Our inn is located in a rural town nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina and the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains minutes from the North Georgia Mountains. Enjoy whitewater rafting, canoeing, and kayaking on the Nantahala & Ocoee rivers. 

Sample our famous Murder Mystery Weekends, now in our eleventh season. Hike the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, mountain bike at Tsali, or ride the Great Smoky Mountain Railway.

For the less adventurous, visit quaint antique shops, take a class at the John C. Campbell Folk School, and explore the shops of local artisans in nearby Brasstown. Rent a pontoon boat on Lake Hiwassee, fly fish a stream,...of course, a good book and our porch might be just your cup of tea!
